Haul on 05 Feb 2011

I'm so in love with the new Revlon Top Speed Nail polish that I went to buy six more shades for my self and 2 shades for mom. There were 139 THB each. Here are the colors that I picked up.

With the nail polish, I got Revlon super lustrous lipstick, two matte shades, two pearl shades and one lip gloss.  One last thing that is not revlon that I got was Mabelline  color Riche in silky toffee.

The color pay off is really good and has a great value!!!! That's all for now..  Byeee

January Favourites

Not everyone seems to like January. I LOVE it. We started a new year, got some bargains in the sales,I celebrated a sad start and my blog turned two! Here are a selection of beauty products I've enjoyed using this month.

MAC Pro Long wear THB 1,600.-
I've had such a love hate realtionship with this foundation. It one of my first MAC purchases and I really wanted to get it right. When I first tried it, it left my skin feeling dry & looking matte; not happy as it was 1,600 Baht ! But it's grown on me. The coverage is quite full but has a nice natural finish. Still not sure it's worth the price tag!

Revlon Color Stay Foundation THB 490.-
I would say Revlon Colorstay foundation has come very close to being my favorite foundation. But my thirst for finding a “dream” foundation still continues…It’s a never ending process… sighs!

Revlon Top Speed Nail Polish in the color Candy and Hazy THB 140,- for each
I just love the lasting power is pretty good - I don't find it that it chips as easy as other low end drugstore polishes, they have a shiny finish and they are inexpensive. Although I'm not a huge fan of the soft, plastic-like feel they have. I can get over it though.

Seacret Nail Care Collection (got this as a gift) around THB 3,000 Baht
I got this set from a kiosk in the mall when they demonstrated it on me. The kit came with a buffing cube, a sea scented body lotion, and a cuticle oil. There is supposedly something about the buffer that brings the natural oil of your nails to the surface and distributes it. There is also supposedly some silk or silk proteins released by the buffer. I do not know if that is true or not, but the buffer makes my nails incredibly smooth and diamond -shiny. The cuticle oil is a great moisturizer and keeps my nails looking healthy, and the lotion is a delicate, foamy smell. Supposedly, these products are made from dead sea extracts. I do not know their secret, but I am very happy with this product and am very glad I got this as a gift from my friend. I do not, however, recall how much it cost.  I really love the gloss.
