Outfit of the Day

It was a casual Saturday and I wanted comfort more than fashion today. I wore a stretchable top with black leggings. Leggings are the most comfortable thing on earth. Paired it with a black sling bag and a slight pop pink white and black color with the necklace. Since this top had a deep back, I did a fishtail braid for s soft and feminine look. I went super light withe make up. Wanted my skin to breathe during the weekend.

What I am wearing:
Dress: Top - Zara Basic, Bottom - Black legging from a local store
Bag: Charles & Keith
Shoe: LYN Shoes (sorry I didn't take picture)
Watch: Guess Collect (click on the link to see the watch)

Gardens By the Bay - Cloud Forest

I visited Gardens by the Bay in May 2013. And to be honest, I'm not really a plant person but I do enjoy new attractions. Being it in Singapore, there is not much you could do if you've been there a several times. The 100 hectare gardens are a wonderful way to spend a morning or afternoon or if you are an enthusiast even the whole day. A beautiful mix of gardens which mirror the cultural blend of Singapore. Meander along the paths which will take you naturally though most of the gardens styles and if there is anything being celebrated in Singapore, you can be reasonbly certain it will be celebrated here. Given the humidity of the region, take some time out in the temperature controlled Flower Dome and Cloud Forest for some welcome relief. It's air-conditioned and climate controlled so its bug free - just the way I like it. It doesn't take too long to go around it so don't rush or else you'll be expecting it more. Take lot's of pictures though don't expect to have your private space as when I went there, there were a lot of people. It is worth a visit.

Passenger - Let Her Go

I was introduce to this song by a friend and instantly fell in love with it. His voice is just so subtle and real. It relaxes you and make you think about all you have and that you should appreciate. I love this song. These lyrics fit my 'current relationship' so well. So touching.

You won't know how good it was until its too late, when its gone - very true and something most people felt I'm sure.  But, gone here could mean break up or even death, the song never reveals. still the lyric is cryptic about who is in fact letting this go, does he creak up from disappointment or did she let him go and in lack of action  he just lets her go instead of fighting for it. But it could be also that loss puts you in this state, the lyric describes and the message 'Let her go'  simple means that you have to try to carry on because the pain lingers on.

I feel this song is about having done everything you can for someone to only fall in the end. Through the time you spend hoping you can 'make a dream last and 'loving her too much', you somehow realize that the ultimate way to let her know you love her is to let her go. Hence, 'Only know you love her when you let her go'. It's about respecting the choices that person made and knowing you can't stick around any longer.

Prada Wallet - Wish List

Being eying for a new wallet for the longest time. I don't remember when I'd changed my wallet. I think it's been over 6 years. But the condition of my Gucci wallet still works perfectly fine. But I am sort of getting bored of it now. I really love blue color and in the beginning of the year, I remember reading it somewhere that a blue color wallet will help keep the money more in the wallet. So I was so head strong to get a blue wallet. I did try looking into many brands, nothing really caught my eyes but this Prada Saffiano Metallic Gold Flap wallet. It's very simple and yet classy. I love the color and its just the perfect size. It's something I can carry it for more than five years and not get bored of it. I haven't got it as yet, just waiting when its the right time to treat myself.

Weep

People come and people go,
Some take you high and some get you low,
In life, one's gotta know
who to keep and who to throw,
You  know plastic beauty dies away,
Pleastic toys do break with time,
What brings one, temporary happiness
will once be a pain in the spine.

Real people are always for keeps,
dread for the day love,
when plastic will get you a weep...

The Thai Mobile Advert That Has Everyone Weeping

Oh my God, this True Move (a communication conglomerate in Thailand)  advertisement. The commercial was so sentimental for me, it brought tear to my eyes. The commercial is a story of giving and sharing what we have. And in return, in the right time. Giving back and returning a blessing you share to other people. It's a kind of motivation for me and of course it bough light into my heart. The only question is that its not relevant to true move as a brand/company or what they are trying to sell. I don't know, or maybe I interpret it wrongly.

Charles & Keith Bag

Going to Singapore, the few things that are a must by for me are Garret Popcorn and Charles and Keith shoes and bag. These are the most random and worth it things/items to buy from Singapore. I mean there so much cheaper than Bangkok like I mean littery cheaper. And Now that I am a member of Charles and Keith, I'm pay much lesser. This one caught my eye in particular, one because its black and it seem really like an every day bag and the best part, it has a pink lining. It's really cute. I got this for 1900 Baht (I forgot how much it was in Singapore Dollar)

After you - Dessert Cafe

After you - Dessert Cafe is a hot spot in Bangkok for people who have sweet tooth. The dessert is to die for. The menu at the counter has mini Polaroid snaps of all the dishes. My all time favorite is the Classic shibuya toast. It is a thick chunk of toast serviced with honey, vanilla ice-cream and some extra honey. The portion is good for two or three people. I also enjoy the Horlicks Frappe, it is not so sweet and its very well blended.

Atmosphere: This place is modern and cozy. It's got warm wooden decor and a lot of natural lights. The place smell of fresh waffle and pancakes. It's just perfect for family and friends catch up.  They have got plenty seating as well.

Value: It is surely worth the money. The desserts are around 150 baht and in that range. Every bite is worth the morn.

Service: This is a sort of self orders at the counter but they service it to your table kinda thing. I would say the service is quick because the turn over of table are pretty high, the table are quickly cleaned and dessert is served fast with quality.

Address: They have got many branches: Thong Lor soi 13,  Ari, Siam Paragon ground floor, Silom Complex and at Central Plaza Ladprao.

Overall: 9.5 out of 10, I love everything about this place, The half point deduction is because it is so far from my place and you have to wait for the table. Other than all, its a perfect ten :)
