My Current Skin Care Routine - Morning/Night

Lately, I have become a little more focused about my skin care routine. Such as, I actually have a routine now. And maybe it is paying off, People have been telling there some change.  But they not able to identify what it is. Some say its the glow and the radiance of my face and etc.

I have decided to divide this post into two section: one about the products and one about the routine because I actually don't think the products matter nearly as much as the routine. Everyone I know who has beautiful skin was born a little bit lucky and also had a consistent routine, and they all used inexpensive products.

That being said, who doesn't love skin care products? So here is the dirt on what I'm using.

MORNING:
Origins Plantscription Anti-aging eye treatment
This is the eye cream I have been using for the past 2 months. I was introduce to Origins product by one of the beauty guru on YouTube known as Beauty by LisaSz09 and then heard Oprah Winfrey mentioning that 'A Perfect world Body Cream'. In terms of nourishment and fine line it is really good. The only problem I have with this eye cream is that, it is not a good base for my concealer. When I apply concealer on top of this, it becomes ashes and so difficult to apply concealer.

As mention in the Origins website: 'Although its not a prescription, in just 4 weeks nature's next generation power plant noticeably reduces wrinkle length and dept without irritation.' I am in love with this serum. I do feel that my fine lines have become less visible around the stubborn furrows across my forehead.

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion
I have been using this cream for the longest time. I've tried in in gel format and cream format. But for my dry skin, I prefer the cream one. However, I must admit that there is a bad boy in the ingredient which is the parabean. Read this article for the debate of Parabean http://www.besthealthmag.ca/look-great/beauty/parabens-what-are-they-and-are-they-really-that-bad
Anyhow, I have converted to use the new formula from the clinique line which has an additional plus on it. The new formula does not have parabean in it.

L'Oreal Paris Dermo Expertise UV Perfect SPF 50 UVB UVA PA+++
This is my second bottle. I am sure you have seen me rave this product. It is non greasy, light weight and doesn't make my skin white like other sunscreen. Because of this sunscreen, I've been able to apply sunscreen on a daily basis.

Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser
This stuff is really gentle for my skin. The reason I use this is because it is very mild and in the morning I am not needing to remove much of a dirt as night wash is more important to me. This works perfect for my skin without leaving the skin feeling tight or overly dry.

NIGHT
This is the eye cream I have been using for the past 2 months. I was introduce to Origins product by one of the beauty guru on YouTube known as Beauty by LisaSz09 and then heard Oprah Winfrey mentioning that 'A Perfect world Body Cream'. In terms of nourishment and fine line it is really good. The only problem I have with this eye cream is that, it is not a good base for my concealer. When I apply concealer on top of this, it becomes ashes and so difficult to apply concealer.

Clinique Clarifying Moisture Lotion 2
I feel that my face requires a toner for the night time, after so much of dirt and everything. I have been using this for a while now. I don't think I will re-purchase this again. It is expensive. But I do make it a point to have a toner in my night routine.

As mention in the Origins website: 'Although its not a prescription, in just 4 weeks nature's next generation power plant noticeably reduces wrinkle length and dept without irritation.' I am in love with this serum. I do feel that my fine lines have become less visible around the stubborn furrows across my forehead.

I love this cream. It feel awesome. I don't know how to describe this one. It feel that apply applying it on my face, it works on building back my skin to its original self. I was also using this cream in morning before purchasing the new formula of the dramatic lotion. I love the formula, it sit on my skin beautifully.

Himalya Herbal Neem Face Wash
I selected this face wash because it has a key ingredient of Neem and Turmeric. The formula is organic and there is no harsh substance for your face. It does the job of cleaning my face and removing left over make up and it doesn't leave my skin dry after wash.

Additional NIGHT
Origins Drink Up Intensive overnight Mask
This is super rich. I feel something happening to my skin after I apply it. It has a very thick texture and when I wake up in the morning I feel my skin is glowing. It adds water to my skin I apply this once a week, usually on the mornings that I have to wash my hair.

This is my another holy face item. It nourishes my skin and leaving my skin wanting for more.  It is amazing for dry skin like mine. I use it like a face mask and apply once a week only.
Weekends
Body Shop Nutriganics Smoothing Mask
I have sensitive skin and many mask turn me ref for hours. This does not affect my skin tone, but it does leave my skin noticeably softer and smoother. Just a warning, the smell is horrible. When I put it on, I can feel my skin warming and tightening. After I rinse it off, my skin feels cool and clean.  I apply this mask over the weekend, either on Saturday or Sunday. After cleansing and toning, apply a thin layer all over my face. Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes then wash off with water.

Routine
Normal days: In the morning, I apply eye cream and serum, then wait for 2 to 3 minutes and then apply my cream and do some other thing by 2 to 3 minutes I then apply my sunscreen. I get dressed up so its 5 to 10 minutes by then, then I apply my makeup. At night, after my face wash, I wipe my face with a toner and then pad on my eye cream and serum, let it sink in my skin for like 5 minutes then apply 2 layer of my cream. On Tuesday and Friday night is a bit different routine, On Tuesday night I apply my origins drink up intensive right after my toner and leave it. On Friday night, after the toner, I apply the Egyptian magic cream.

And that's it!! Other than trying to eat lots of fruit and vegetable and get 8 hours of sleep of course.
