Wedding Diaries - Engagement / Sangeet

It was a calm start. Got up fresh and headed straight to the hotel. I had my girl squad with me getting ready. No function is complete with a little drama. It was not intended for but had to let it go. Let's get to the fun part. The flow of events had been pre-decided. I would walk in with my dad. So I'm sitting with my groom on the fabulous set up in best seat. The groom hosted a little bit in the beginning and then the groom and I would start off the dance. We did on tu meri and phate tak nachna.

During the end of the song, we had a drone bring in our ring for the exchange. We had everyone on the dance floor surrounding us when we exchange our ring. We then move to cut our wedding cake.

It then carried on with all adults in the house including my grandmom on the dance floor. It all carried on dance after dance, all our practices and hard work pays off. Of course, everyone forgets a step or two, but that doesn't come in the way of a successful show. Sonica and my cousin just handle the dance performance really well.

I was dancing the night away. I was on such a high. We were drag around to meet this person and that person. My whole jing bang was on the dance floor. We danced to our own tunes that night, literally. And it made for a really, really memorable and to a fantastic night under the stars.

I would like to take this opportunity to Thank my dad, because I know NONE of this would have been possible without him.

**There are a million more people to thank, who should be thanked in equal amount if not more than this. Many more thank you's, coming up.
