Bright sunny day here in Singapore. I was just moving our to run some errands and have lunch. I bought this dress like last year around November I think. And I'm just being able to wear it now. It's gone on sales and they don't have it any more. It is a comfortable dress but the only downfall is its lining. The lining is too short, so you will need to wear something under it to avoid peekaboo.

What I'm wearing:
Dress: Forever21
Bag: Prada sling bag
Shoe: Charles & keith

Blue Jeans

I was feeling fat that day, this jean dress was just the perfect dress to cover my shape. I knew I was going to walk a lot, so I pulled this converse that my hubby got for me from Korea like few months back. I never got the change to wear it, so it was just a perfect day. Felt really sporty that day and my feet felt super comfortable.

What I'm wearing:
Dress: Jean dress from rolex market in Bangkok
Bag: Prada Sling bag
Shoe: White converse
Accessories: Wedding bangles

#Singapore and I

July is coming to an end, and it's been all together 5 months since I moved to Singapore. It has been a hell of a journey so far. Singapore has beautiful architect all around and if you are wondering what to do, then just head out and just keep walking. You will find amazing things around. I explored so many things when I walk. I've made it a habit of walking during the weekend to explore a particular area.

Things I love about Singapore:
  • Comparing to Thailand, Singapore is much safer place to stay. They have strict rules and regulations that has been controlled.
  • The diversity of culture that exist here is unbelievable. Discrimination is not often seen or felt.
  • Food variety is insane. You have selection from Indian, Thai, Vietnamese, Mexican, etc The best thing for me is there is so many salad bars/station to choose from.
  • Privacy in Singapore, I love to be by myself and I enjoy all the privacy I get. The community is different from Thailand, where people are checking you out and noticing you what you are wear, what you are doing.
I'm sure there is more to explore and more to love and more to share. Time flies so I'm trying to embrace the most out of it.

Keep Calm, it's our 6 Month Anniversary

6 months ago, I married the most wonderful man on this world (it's a fact, he is really)

Everyone says the first few year of marriage is always difficult. But I don't think that is completely true, it has been a blissful journey for me. I would it is more of the small challenge that you need to overcome. Here are a few of them

I'm this kind of a person who always ask for affirmation. It could be about anything on this earth. Did I make the right choice? Should I have tried this instead? Would you do this differently? Why didn't I think of that? You like this color, right? What's going to happen next in the movie? I know I ask a lot of questions.  He has a hell of a job dealing with an impulsive wife who also second guesses everyone of her decision. I really can't help myself from asking him the affirm and reaffirm  every choice I make. I'm sorry boo boo and thank you for your patience.

I know that I'm impatient and impulsive. I also know that, when faced with a decision, I usually panic and choose the ridiculous option (like my food options are ridiculous every time) rather than the reasonable one. He is much more careful in that ways. You're my closest confidant and I truly believe that being able to bounce ideas of you is what helps me achieve any measure of success. Thank you for your wisdom.

I'm a piece of work, I know.

These last few months have brought a lot of changes for us, and so much of what lies ahead is uncertain. I love you because you make being difficult feel easy. You help me push through the fear, the hesitation, the self-doubt. You're everything I'm not and so many things I'd like to be. I over you because when I scare the hell out of you with my anger, you wrap me in your arms and cover me up. I love you because you let me drive you crazy. I love you because you don't ever let the cliches dictate your life, and insist on defining things for yourself. I love that we, together, shape what a marriage is and what we want ours to be, even if it means we go a little crazy trying to figure it out.

Okay, I'm done being cheesy for today, but in all honesty, I have a wonderful husband.

Nail Paint Combo

This is my nail combo for this week. The OPI doesn't have a name on it. It is the miniature collection that came with 10 colors. I am really obsessed with the sally hansen mega shine top coat. It just like getting your nails done from the salon.

Food i cooked

I don't know how to cook but I have recently started to cook for my husband. He likes to eat home food so I've made a point to cook at at least 3 times a week. In the beginning and now actually, I struggle a lot. I don't even know the basic of cooking. After being married for 6 month, now I can put together some dishes together.

Kheer made with Quinoa
My husband, eats very repetitive food and he is not really fond of eating that much. His taste sense is very limited. He enjoys not so flavoured food and can repeat his menu up to 3 consecutive days. On the other side, I'm so fond with eating that I never really got a chance to cook.

Yellow Daal
I really struggle and get really bored, cooking itself and as well as cooking the same things over again. So it's a challenge for me to overpass this phase of cooking. I shall update my more about my cooking progress in the upcoming blog post.

Yoka Yoka

Yoka Yoka is a new Japanese Restaurant in Ruamrudee. I was really surprise to find this place bang near my office in Bangkok. We went there for our team meeting. It was beautiful and so unexpected. They are 2 floors, the first floor serve things like hot spot style food and the second floor is the sake bar and have private rooms.

Atmosphere: The ambiance was like your in a spa and if you are sitting at the end of the second floor, you'll find a small greenery garden which is so refreshing. It is decorate with bricks, wooden furniture and colourful painting.

Outdoor area

Value: The food was delicious and for a good set-lunch, it cost around 180 Thai Baht. Which is so reasonable and filling. Like a charcoal-grilled chicken with yuzu sauce was for 185 Baht. The quality is of high standard.

Service: The food service was very fast. I was vegetarian that day and they didn't hesitate in making customise food for which is a really plus point for me. And the veg food was just delicious. I wasn't missing out on anything.

Veg Salad
Veg Sushi

Location: This is assessable by the sky train (ploenchit station) 5 minutes walking distance from the train.
Address: Ruamrudee Village, 20/27-29 Soi Ruam Rudi, Bangkok, Thailand
Phone: +66 2 650 8047

Overall: Fantastic Japanese restaurant. I would give it 9 out of 10. I will surely go back to this place. It is very urbanised, excellent service and delicious food at a great price.

Fresh Sugar Lip Polish

I was eyeing for a lip scrub for a long while and when I was traveling to Beijing, I had plenty time to spend at the duty free while waiting for my flight.  I was knew I wouldn't get away the duty free without buying anything. The sales lady over there was really nice. I was sold in buying this and then also had a few sample of fresh products.

So I started using the lip scrub for over a month now and I use it twice a week. I did see a slight difference in the way my lipstick apply. I take a small portion and gently rub on the lips for  a minute. Then I just let it sit on my lips for 5 mins and then rinse it off. The smell of it is very sweet.

The consistancy is thick and not sticky. This product is on the higher side. If you have money to splurge then go for it. Otherwise there are many ways you can make your own lip scrub.

Hotel Indigo Bangkok Wireless Road

Hotel Indigo Bangkok Wireless Road is a new hotel under the IHG group. It just opened recently and it is bang near my work place. So caught up with some of my colleagues and we went for lunch at Metro on Wireless which is located on the 2nd floor of the hotel and there is an outdoor area to the view of wireless road.

Atmosphere: The décor was fabulous. It  has got this very vintage slash glam set-up. It was something new. The elevator still smell of the new leather that is used to décor. So everything is brand new. The restaurant set- up was very fresh and new. New here I mean in terms of the atmosphere. It's very different. I'm not able to explain what the feelings was like.

Value: We were four of us and the bill came 600 each. We ordered one individual dish and 2 share portions. I ordered the Khao Mok Kai. Oh my god. This is to die for. It was so yummy. The chicken was so tender. We all ordered drinks and then it was followed by 2 dessert to share and we top it up with coffee. So it was very worth the value. Everything was tasty and the presentation was just super cute.

Service: The staff was very friendly and all filled with smiles. It was just a pleasure. The service was just excellent.

Address: 81 Wireless road, Lumpini, Phatumwan, Bangkok 10330. Thailand
Telephone: +66 2 207 4999

Overall: The restaurant was good and tasty. They do have a set up for 400++ as well. I think it's a good deal. The ambiance is just perfect and food was fabulous. I would this restaurant 9.5 on 10. Would surely go back for khao mok gai. Very delicious.

Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara

If you don't have this mascara, then stop whatever you are doing right now, Go to and purchase this right away. I got this as a freebie in my points perk, It is a small tube which is good for saving space. So I tried when I was on holiday in Samui. It is just wow. Like just in one coat, you lashes just becomes to thick and mushy.

You wouldn't need to wear false lashes at all. But on the down side, you will need to use oil base remover to get it off which is a pain. It doesn't transfer and long hours.

Price: The full size is expensive comparing to the drug store mascara but I wouldn't mind it as it works perfectly for me.

Packaging: It's light pink round container. Super cute to have it in your vanity.

Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment

My first purchase on Kiehl's product. I was just checking out product for my under eyes. I didn't have any plans to purchase anything as yet, but when I walk across the Kiehl's counter, I was there for a while.

The main reason I parked here for quite some time was because of the ingredient use in Kiehl's. It seem to me that they use natural and organic product. No parabean in their mixture. So I looked at their eye product and decided to buy either the eye serum or the cream. The cream has avocado extract and the serum has botanicle essence. The sales lady just got me into buying both of them. Like our face, the eyes also require a serum and then the cream. I haven't started using it as yet. Waiting for my origins eye cream to finish and then I would start using this. Shall update in the coming post.
